Thank you for your interest in our organization. Currently, we have the following positions open:

 

Math Instructor & Math Instructor Assistant

Carbon County Higher Education Center is accepting applications for the part-time positions of Math Instructor and Math Instructor Assistant. Teaching/tutoring experience is preferred. Instructor/Assistant should be available to teach class Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm.

Math Instructor (Mastering Math class) - The Math Instructor is responsible for instructing adults and youth in the subject of Math. The instructor’s main goal is to equip students with knowledge and skills necessary to improve ALEKS or other college placement test scores, TEAS nursing pre-admittance test scores, or GED or HiSET high school equivalency test scores.  The instructor may also teach students wanting to improve their Math skills before starting college classes or for any other reason. Additionally, the instructor will incorporate math skills necessary for everyday life in the teaching of this class.

Math Instructor Assistant (Mastering Math class) - The Math Instructor Assistant is responsible for helping to instruct adults and youth in the subject of Math. Substitute Teacher

Be a substitute teacher for fun classes in an exciting environment. We need substitute teachers for our pre-engineering, CNA, Pre-Engineering, Woodworking, Automotive, and Welding classes. 65 credit hours through an accredited college or completion of the substitute teacher’s class.
